Coated paper also called art paper is widely used in printing and packaging industry. You may find them in a beautiful calendar, a poster, the book cover, brochures, and refined paper packaging boxes.

Featured with neat surface and high gloss, coated paper can be divided into gloss coated paper, matte coated paper, dull coated paper and satin coated paper.

Coated paper comes in 70GSM, 80GSM, 100GSM, 105GSM, 115GSM, 120GSM, 128GSM, 150GSM, 157GSM, 180GSM, 200GSM, 210GSM, 240GSM, 250GSM, with 105GSM, 115GSM, 128GSM, 157GSM most commonly seen.

105GSM and 128GSM is the least choice for 4C printing. It is an option for inner pages of magazines and cost sensitive advertisements.

157GSM is the most popular choice in paper printing. Most advertising paper, flyers, posters comes in 157GSM.

200GSM and 250GSM are usually chosen by high end companies or customers who are able to pay and more focused on the printing quality. It can be used in refined flyer, poster, packaging boxes and packaging bags.

300GSM and 350GSM are not very commonly used, because they are very similar to cardboard paper in quality and characteristics.
