Details to be considered for custom printing box

Custom paper boxes become quite popular for companies who want to show their uniqueness to impress their customers. We can always find custom chocolate box, jewelry box, cosmetic box, electronic appliance box, flower box and so on.

What are the main factors that should be taken into consideration for these custom boxes? Now we briefly summarize them into 3 factors as below.

Factor No.1 performance of packaged products which includes the physical state, shape, strength, weight, structure, value and danger of the products. This is the first consideration when printing the color box of the product packaging.

A. Product state. There are products in solid, liquid, gas, or mixed state to be packaged. So the packaging materials and manufacturing crafts should be different accordingly.

B. Shape of product. There are many kinds of shapes including rectangle, square, round, heart shaped products which wound need special designing to fit.  The product packaging color box shall be in suitable size, stable for storage and meet the standardization requirements.

C. Strength of product. For fragile products, additional caution should be paid to improve its protection performance, and there shall be obvious marks on the outside of the paper box.

E. Product value. The packaging should be suitable for value of the product. For example, luxury jewelry should be packaged in artfully made paper box; while economical box is recommended for household soap packaging.

F. Potential danger. Safety measures shall be done to inflammable, explosive, toxic and other dangerous products with specific marks made outside the paper box.

Factor No. 2 Environmental impact on products during the transportation should also be well considered when designing the custom paper box.

A. Weather condition for example sunshine, temperature, humidity, rainfalls and snow etc., influences much for designing the box. The supplier should make sure these boxes would be delivered to the buyer safe and sound. 

B. Storage condition shall be carefully considered. There are indoor storage and outdoor storage to warehouse the boxes. Moisture proof materials should be taken into consideration during designing. The box keeper should also inspect the conditions of sunray, raindrops and wind to make sure the boxes are in good condition.
